Young Goan athlete Archi Prithviraj Katkar, a U-14 trainee of RCC Fatorda, clinched the Silver Medal in Triathlon (Group A) at the 40th National Junior Athletics Championships 2025 held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Under coach Patrick Soares, Archi secured an impressive 2306 points, making Goa proud.
Nirbhay Bhav Academy of Performing Arts, Porvorim, emerged victorious at Goa’s largest Garbha Dandiya competition, winning ₹1 lakh in cash and a trophy. Organised by Sarvajanik Durga Utsav Samiti, Bazarpeth-Pedne, and sponsored by Hon’ble MLA Shri Pravin Arlekar, the team will now represent Goa at the national-level dance championship in Gwalior on October 4–5.
