At the launch of his Konkani poetry collection Thode Bold Thoden Old, young poet Pruthvi Naik was praised by noted author Hema Naik for his socially conscious themes and contemporary insight. The event, organised at the Government Arts, Science and Commerce College, Khandola, highlighted the growing boldness and maturity of Goa’s new generation of writers.
A one-day National Seminar on "Dr. Manoharrai Sardesai: Life and Literature" was organized jointly by M.E.S. Vasant Joshi College Arts and Commerce Zuarinagar, Goa Konkani Academy, and the Directorate of Official Language, Government of Goa. The seminar celebrated the life and literary contributions of Dr. Manoharrai Sardesai, a renowned Konkani writer.
