The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, is set to celebrate Goa Deepotsav 2025 — a grand Diwali festival showcasing Goa’s vibrant traditions, music, art, and community spirit. Spread across Porvorim, Saligao, and Mapusa from October 25–26, the festival will feature competitions, cultural performances, and musical evenings that reflect the warmth and creativity of Goan culture.
At the International Purple Fest 2025 in Panjim, Mr. Gabriel Pereira of the MOHAN Foundation led an impactful organ donation awareness campaign. Over 500 flyers were distributed and 30 visitors pledged to become donors. The stall was visited by Goa’s Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and other dignitaries.
The Goa State Legal Services Authority, under the aegis of NALSA, in association with the Goa High Court Bar Association, held a series of workshops on forensic evidence at Porvorim. Experts provided insights into narcotics detection and scientific analysis under the NDPS Act.
Goa Tourism is all set to showcase its pioneering regenerative tourism model and the emotive “Feels Like Goa” campaign at WTM London 2025. The state aims to highlight its unique blend of culture, spirituality, cuisine, and community-led tourism beyond beaches.
