A 20-member Goa Sub-Junior Football team has departed for Amritsar, Punjab, to compete in the upcoming national football tournament. The team left Mopa Airport early on October 25, accompanied by coaches and management, with their first match against Haryana on October 28.
The 4th Vedanta U-16 Youth Cup began on 21st October 2025 in Goa, featuring eight top youth football teams from across India. Hosted by Sesa Football Academy, the tournament offers a national platform for emerging footballers to showcase their skills in a competitive and professionally organized format.
