Goa Launches Whale Shark Conservation Project with ₹75,000 Rescue Reward


On International Whale Shark Day, Goa’s Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane launched the Whale Shark Conservation Project in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust of India, Goa Forest Department, Fisheries Department, and Oracle India. A reward of ₹75,000 will be given to fishermen or individuals rescuing and releasing whale sharks and other endangered species.
