Diana Pundole to Make History as the First Indian Woman to Race a Ferrari Internationally


Indian motorsport is set to witness a historic moment as Diana Pundole, a 32-year-old racer from Pune, becomes the first Indian woman to race a Ferrari internationally. Beginning November 2025, she will take part in the Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East, driving the powerful Ferrari 296 Challenge — a track-only, high-performance machine from the legendary Italian marque.

The championship will run from November 2025 to April 2026, featuring races across some of the most iconic Formula One circuits in the Middle East — including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

“It’s truly an incredible honour,” said Pundole. “Being part of the Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East as the first Indian woman is a proud moment not just for me but for women in Indian motorsport. I hope it encourages more women to pursue their passion for racing.”

Pundole began her racing journey in 2018 through the JK Tyre Women in Motorsport program, where she quickly stood out for her competitive spirit and multiple podium finishes. Since then, she has continued to make her mark in Indian motorsport, earning respect for her discipline and technical skill behind the wheel.

Now, her participation in the Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East represents a major milestone for Indian women in racing — and a proud moment for the country’s growing motorsport community.

Dubai-based YouTuber and luxury lifestyle vlogger, Mohamed Beiraghdary—better known as MoVlogs—is making headlines yet again. This time, the influencer has turned a supercar into an extravagant interior feature by suspending what looks like a Ferrari LaFerrari from his ceiling as a chandelier

A video posted on his Instagram account documents the entire process. The clip opens with movers carefully hoisting the bright red car into his lavish Dubai mansion. Moments later, the car is secured overhead via a custom pulley system, transforming into an over-the-top lighting fixture. MoVlogs casually walks beneath it, as though his challenge is now a quirky everyday backdrop.


While MoVlogs brands it as his “new $500,000 chandelier,” viewers are skeptical. Some netizens suggest it’s merely a jet‑car replica or a fiberglass body shell, not a functioning Ferrari—possibly worth much less. Comments range from “La Ferrari in the living room is crazy,” to “Looks like a plastic toy”—and cautionary notes on safety concerns if the structure were real.

The real LaFerrari is a hybrid marvel: an 800 hp V12 engine paired with a 120 kW electric motor, capable of 0–100 km/h in under three seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h. Even if MoVlogs hung a shell, the logistics of mounting something this size are no small feat—raising questions about structural integrity and fire safety, as well as the vibe it sends in luxury decor culture.

The stunt ignited a firestorm online. Reels of the installation have amassed over 24 million views and 800,000+ likes. Some praised the ingenuity and audacity—calling it “amazing.” Others criticized the stunt as ostentatious or risky, dubbing it a tasteless show of wealth.
