Pune-based Asymmetrical Learning, incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, has partnered with the Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC) to introduce the U.S. collegiate esports phenomenon “May Madness” to India. The initiative aims to establish a structured esports ecosystem in Indian schools and universities, following India’s new Online Gaming Act, 2025, which officially recognizes esports as a legitimate sport.
