Ms. Aishwarya Gaude and Mr. Allan Almeida from Goa University triumphed in the Quiz Competition organized by the Goa State Pollution Control Board on World Environment Day 2025. The competition, focused on environmental issues, saw the students emerge as champions after a series of intense rounds, showcasing their knowledge and commitment to sustainability.
On 21st May 2025, Rotary Club of Panaji Riviera inaugurated a Sewage Water Treatment Plant (STP) at Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, under District CSR Grant CS2200062. The STP aims to convert sewage into potable, reusable water, supporting sustainability and water conservation in the community. The project, costing ₹13,00,625/-, is a significant step toward creating a greener environment.
