At the International Purple Fest 2025 in Panjim, Mr. Gabriel Pereira of the MOHAN Foundation led an impactful organ donation awareness campaign. Over 500 flyers were distributed and 30 visitors pledged to become donors. The stall was visited by Goa’s Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and other dignitaries.

As part of the pre-events for the International Purple Fest, Goa 2025, Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School hosted the screening of Rab Di Awaaz, a moving film series on the lives of persons with disabilities, fostering empathy and awareness among students.
“Rabb Di Awaaz,” India’s first multi-inclusive and multi-accessible Hindi feature film, will be screened on the opening day of International Purple Fest Goa 2025. Directed by National Award winner Ojaswwee Sharma, the film showcases powerful performances by actors with disabilities and reflects India’s growing recognition of inclusive cinema.
Minister Subhash Phal Dessai announced that the International Purple Fest Goa 2025 will take place from October 9 to 12, with an inclusive stage set to welcome attendees. In a major accessibility push, a specially designed boardwalk was inaugurated at Miramar Beach, ensuring seamless beach access for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). The initiative, developed by GTDC, marks a significant step toward inclusive tourism and infrastructure in Goa.
