The Nirbhay Bhav Group from Goa earned national recognition by securing the 3rd position at the National Performing Arts Championship 2025, held on October 5 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Representing Goa under the leadership of Dhiraj Naik, the team competed against strong contenders from across India and is now setting its sights on national and international platforms.

Nirbhay Bhav Academy Wins Goa’s Biggest Garbha Dandiya Competition, Heads to Nationals

Nirbhay Bhav Academy of Performing Arts, Porvorim, emerged victorious at Goa’s largest Garbha Dandiya competition, winning ₹1 lakh in cash and a trophy. Organised by Sarvajanik Durga Utsav Samiti, Bazarpeth-Pedne, and sponsored by Hon’ble MLA Shri Pravin Arlekar, the team will now represent Goa at the national-level dance championship in Gwalior on October 4–5.
