New Delhi, October 2025: The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 concluded on October 11, 2025, after a four-day celebration of innovation, technology, and digital transformation at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. Organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Representing Goaโs growing technological aspirations, a delegation from the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C), led by Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, showcased the Stateโs rapidly evolving startup ecosystem. The delegation included Shri Sanjeev Ahuja (IAS, Secretary ITE&C), Shri Kabir Shirgaonkar (Director, DITE&C), Dr. Milind Sakhardande (Joint Director, DITE&C), and Shri Neville Noronha (OSD to the Minister of IT).

Five promising Goan startups โ Avyott Ventures Pvt. Ltd, Linq Haul Pvt. Ltd, Spintly, ByHorse, and Svayu IT Pvt. Ltd โ participated in the exhibition, presenting their cutting-edge solutions to more than 1.5 lakh attendees.

Porvorim, February, 2025: NoMoZo (No-Motor Zone), organized by Porvorim Rising under the leadership of Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, IT, E&C, Printing & Stationery, and MLA of Porvorim, transformed the streets of Porvorim into a vibrant hub of culture, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation. The event brought together the community, fostering an atmosphere of creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions that are shaping Goaโs digital future.
A major highlight of NoMoZo 2025 was the IT Zone, curated by JCI Porvorim and supported by the Startup & IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa. The IT Zone provided a dedicated space for startups, IT companies, and student entrepreneurs to present their ideas, showcase innovative solutions, and engage with the public. It was a testament to the growing tech-driven ecosystem in Goa, positioning the state as a leader in fostering entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
Marking a historic moment, Goaโs first-ever drone delivery took place at NoMoZo, executed by ByHorse, a logistics and transport startup. The successful delivery demonstrated the potential of drone technology in revolutionizing last-mile logistics, emergency response, and smart mobility solutions in the state. This milestone represents a significant step towards integrating cutting-edge technology into Goaโs infrastructure and business landscape.
The IT Zone featured a range of startups that are driving innovation in their respective industries. Among them was Infinity 3D, a provider of advanced 3D printing solutions that are transforming the way products are designed and manufactured. Digiwiz, a technology solutions company, presented its offerings in computing, software, and automation. IMS Cad Centre, affiliated with the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, showcased its expertise in CAD training, equipping professionals with essential industry skills. SpacialCraft, a leader in GIS and drone solutions, highlighted how technology is reshaping real estate and mapping, while ByHorse, beyond its groundbreaking drone delivery, shared its vision for revolutionizing logistics in Goa.
The event was also a stage for emerging young innovators, as students presented groundbreaking projects that tackled real-world problems. Among them were a hovercraft prototype capable of travelling seamlessly across land and water developed by students from the Institute of Shipbuilding Technology Goa, and an AI-powered deepfake detection tool designed to combat misinformation, a smart vehicle safety and incident response system called ADAM (Automotive Diagnostic and Activity Monitoring System), a personal security app (Rakshalink) designed for both locals and tourists and an immersive VR cricketing experience merging sports with virtual reality, designed by the students of Padre Conceiรงรฃo College of Engineering, Goa. Further, students from Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Goa displayed projects like Revolutionalizing Attendance, an automated attendance tracking system, Sign Scribe, a sign language translator using hand gesture recognition and Cattle Care, a scannable ID system for livestock management, demonstrated how technology is being used to solve everyday challenges.
Adding to the innovation on display, students from Peopleโs High School, Panjim, and Progress High School, Panjim, alongside the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team, presented three advanced robots demonstrating the real-world applications of automation and engineering. Their participation highlighted the immense potential of Goaโs young talent in the fields of AI and Robotics.
NoMoZo 2025 reaffirmed Goaโs growing reputation as a hub for startups, innovation, and technology-driven solutions. With initiatives like the Startup and IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) and the Department of ITE&Cโs continued efforts to support digital transformation, Goa is fast becoming a preferred destination for entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts.
