Bollywood superstar and mental health advocate Deepika Padukone has taken on two impactful roles, further expanding her influence across technology and public health. She has officially become the voice of Meta AI—marking a first for an Indian celebrity to be integrated into AI platforms across multiple countries including India, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
In a video shared on Instagram, Deepika is seen in a recording studio, lending her voice to Meta’s AI assistant. “Hi, I am Deepika Padukone. I am the new voice of Meta AI. So tap the ring and my voice will run out,” she says, announcing the launch of her collaboration with the tech giant.
In the same week, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Deepika was appointed by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare as the first-ever Mental Health Ambassador of India. The appointment recognizes her longstanding commitment to mental wellness through her NGO, The Live Love Laugh Foundation (LLL), which she founded after personally battling depression. The ministry’s recognition is a major milestone in India’s efforts to prioritize mental health within the public health ecosystem.
Sharing her gratitude, Deepika posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, thanking the government and the Ministry. She also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in bringing mental health to the forefront of national dialogue. “Through my own journey and the work we’ve done at @tlllfoundation over the past decade, I’ve seen how much is possible when we come together to build a mentally healthy India,” she wrote. She also shared a photo from her meeting with Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava.
Deepika’s dual announcements reflect her growing influence beyond cinema—where her voice is not only powering conversations with AI users but also helping reshape India’s mental health narrative. Whether it’s tech innovation or national advocacy, she is using her platform to create impact in areas that matter.
On the work front, she has also begun shooting for ‘King,’ her sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, following the massive success of ‘Jawan’ directed by Atlee. With each project, Deepika continues to build a legacy that blends entertainment, empathy, and empowerment.
In a moment of immense pride for Goa, filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale has been honoured with the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director for his powerful and critically acclaimed film Article 370.
This historic win marks a first for Goa, as Aditya becomes the state’s first-ever recipient of a Filmfare Award, a milestone achievement that highlights the growing presence of Goan talent in India’s mainstream film industry.
Article 370, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, delves into one of India’s most defining political events with intensity and precision. Reacting to his win, Aditya expressed deep gratitude:
“This recognition is not just mine — it belongs to every young storyteller from Goa who dreams big. I’m honoured to represent my home state on a national stage.”
Born and raised in Goa, Aditya Jambhale’s creative journey began in short films and regional projects before he made his Bollywood debut with Article 370. His filmmaking blends realism with emotional depth, a trait that has now been acknowledged with one of Indian cinema’s most prestigious awards.
Goa’s creative community, film enthusiasts, and institutions have hailed this achievement as a landmark moment that will inspire future filmmakers from the state.

Bollywood fans were in for a treat at the trailer launch of Thamma, the upcoming horror-comedy from Maddock Films, set to release this Diwali on October 21. While the event featured lead stars Ayushmann Khurrana, director Aditya Sarpotdar, and producer Dinesh Vijan, it was Shraddha Kapoor who stole the spotlight with an exciting surprise.
The original face of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, Shraddha announced a brand-new animated theatrical feature titled Choti Stree. This prequel will explore the mysterious backstory of her iconic character from Stree, the film that started the cinematic universe and became a cultural phenomenon.
Shraddha shared her excitement, saying the film will give fans the long-awaited answers about her character’s powers and origins. Producer Dinesh Vijan added that Choti Stree will release six months before Stree 3, and end with a sequence that directly connects to the much-anticipated sequel—effectively making it a narrative bridge between the two.
This strategic move not only expands the universe but also introduces a family-friendly entry point. By using animation, the franchise is tapping into a broader demographic, including children and younger audiences, while retaining the folklore-based roots that have defined the series.
The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe has steadily evolved since the success of Stree (2018), with titles like Bhediya and Munjya adding new layers and mythologies. Thamma, which delves into the legend of the Betaal, adds yet another folkloric thread to the shared universe.
Dinesh Vijan emphasized the studio’s mission: to celebrate India’s rich cultural stories instead of borrowing tropes from Western horror. He also revealed that Thamma will introduce two new characters who will lead future films, all interconnected and culminating in Stree 3.
With Choti Stree, Maddock Films is signaling its serious intent to craft a cohesive and enduring cinematic universe—one grounded in Indian mythology, reimagined for modern audiences, and now expanding into new formats like animation.
As the anticipation for Thamma and Stree 3 builds, Choti Stree adds another compelling chapter to one of Bollywood’s most creative franchises. Fans can expect not just jump scares, but layered storytelling, interconnected lore, and now, an exciting animated twist.
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has made headlines, not for a film release, but for a ₹13 crore investment in a prime office property in Andheri West, Mumbai. Partnering with his parents, Mala and Manish Tiwari, the investment was officially registered in September 2025.
The property is located in Signature by Lotus, a prominent commercial building in Andheri West, offering a RERA carpet area of 176.98 sq m (1,905 sq ft) and a built-up area of 194.67 sq m (2,095 sq ft). Along with the space, the Aaryan family has secured three car parking spots. The deal included a stamp duty payment of ₹78 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000.
Andheri West is considered one of Mumbai’s most desirable commercial hubs, with strong road, rail, and metro connectivity. Its proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and key business centers like Bandra Kurla Complex, SEEPZ, and Lower Parel makes it a hotspot for professionals and investors.
Kartik, who started his career with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011, has become one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars. With successful films such as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Satyaprem Ki Katha, he has also now made a smart move into real estate, expanding his portfolio beyond cinema.
This investment reflects a growing trend among celebrities diversifying into real estate, leveraging prime locations in Mumbai to secure long-term value.
