Marking her late father’s 100th birth anniversary, philanthropist Sushma Khandeparkar has donated a specialised blood bank vehicle to the Indian Red Cross Society, strengthening access to blood donation services across Goa’s rural and underserved areas.
Nursing students of Harmal Panchkrishi Shikshan Mandal’s Nursing College visited the Indian Red Cross Society, Goa Branch, gaining valuable exposure to humanitarian services, disaster management, blood donation initiatives, and community health activities. The visit offered practical insights beyond the classroom, enriching their understanding of nursing roles in community welfare.
