Written by Intern Swara Bodke || Team Allycaral

BLACKPINK member Lisa and popular Thai actor Win Metawin sent fans into a frenzy after they were spotted together at the prestigious Amazing Thailand Ambassador Exclusive Night. The high-profile event, celebrating Thailand’s culture and global influence, brought the two stars together as part of the country’s international tourism campaign, instantly becoming a talking point across social media platforms.

Fresh from wrapping up BLACKPINK’s globally successful DEADLINE World Tour alongside Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo, Lisa made a striking appearance that blended couture elegance with deep cultural significance. She wore a Balmain Haute Couture gown inspired by Pierre Balmain’s Spring/Summer 1960 collection, originally reimagined for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand. The ensemble featured a golden bandeau top and voluminous sleeves woven with traditional Thai textiles, paired with a butter-yellow duchesse satin wrap skirt that flowed effortlessly, creating a sculptural yet graceful silhouette. Completing the look with a matching stole, Lisa elevated the ensemble further with exquisite Bvlgari high jewellery, reinforcing her status as a global fashion icon.

Standing beside her was Win Metawin, one of Thailand’s most popular young actors and also a key face of the Amazing Thailand campaign. Win opted for a sleek all-black ensemble, pairing a classic shirt and tie with straight-leg trousers and a velvet blazer. Adding a meaningful cultural touch, he wore a golden brooch shaped like Thailand, subtly echoing the evening’s theme of national pride. The duo were seen interacting warmly on stage and posing together for photographers, moments that quickly went viral online.

Fans flooded social media with admiration, praising not only their visuals but also the symbolic pairing of two of Thailand’s most globally recognised cultural ambassadors. Many highlighted the chemistry between the two, while others applauded the way fashion, heritage and modern stardom came together in a single frame. Comments celebrating Lisa as a “global princess” and Win as Thailand’s “proud representative” dominated timelines, further amplifying the event’s impact.

While Lisa continues to expand her influence beyond music into fashion and cultural representation, Win Metawin is gearing up for his next major project, the historical fantasy drama Scarlet Heart Thailand, currently under production. Their appearance together underscored the growing global spotlight on Thai talent and culture, making the night not just a fashion moment, but a celebration of Thailand’s evolving presence on the world stage.

BLACKPINK’s JISOO Teases Duet with Zayn Malik: “Two Voices, One Orbit”

In what’s shaping up to be one of the most talked-about music collaborations of the year, BLACKPINK’s JISOO has officially teased a surprise duet with former One Direction member Zayn Malik. The pair are joining forces on a track titled “EyesClosed,” as hinted in a series of moody teaser images and cryptic captions shared across JISOO’s social media on October 6.

The first teaser showed JISOO in the foreground, with a shadowed male silhouette standing behind her. The word “EYESCLOSED” was emblazoned across the frame, paired with the caption: “A duet is near.” A follow-up post brought the male figure slightly more into focus with the caption: “Two voices, one orbit. Coming soon.” Speculation quickly turned to confirmation as fans identified the figure as none other than Zayn Malik.

Zayn was previously spotted at BLACKPINK’s New York concert on July 27, 2025, accompanied by his daughter, Khai. After the concert, he shared a fan photo on social media with the caption, “@BLACKPINKOFFICIAL THANK YOU 🙂 ME & KHAI LOVED IT,” sparking curiosity and buzz about a potential connection between him and the group. That speculation has now turned into excitement with the announcement of the collaboration.

This marks JISOO’s first new music release since her solo EP Amortage, which dropped in February 2025 and featured songs like “Earthquake,” “Your Love,” and “Hugs & Kisses.” The duet with Zayn is expected to blend their distinct vocal styles, bringing together JISOO’s K-pop finesse and Zayn’s soulful, R&B-influenced pop sound.

Currently, JISOO is on BLACKPINK’s “Deadline” world tour, which kicked off in Seoul in July and will resume in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on October 18, after a short break following their London shows. Zayn, meanwhile, has been relatively low-key musically, making this teaser all the more intriguing for fans of both artists.

With the global reach of BLACKPINK and the enduring popularity of Zayn Malik, “EyesClosed” could become a defining cross-cultural pop moment. No official release date has been confirmed yet, but all signs point to an October drop. Until then, fans are left counting the days until the orbit of these two voices becomes one.

BLACKPINK’s Triumphant Return to London: Deadline World Tour Ignites Wembley Stadium

On Friday night, August 15th, Wembley Stadium was ablaze in pink — not from demons à la KPop Demon Hunters, but from the unmatched spectacle that is BLACKPINK. Two years after their BST Hyde Park performance, the global K-pop titans returned to London for their Deadline World Tour, and it was nothing short of historic.

The tour itself came as a surprise. After YG Entertainment’s 2023 announcement that each BLACKPINK member would pursue solo endeavors, fans braced for the possible end of group performances. But in a twist worthy of K-pop drama, BLACKPINK announced the Deadline World Tour earlier this year — a powerful reminder that this group is far from finished.

The Wembley shows featured the fan-favorite hits fans have screamed along to for years — “Kill This Love,” “BOOMBAYAH,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU” — but added new layers with each member performing selections from their latest solo albums:

  • JISOO delivered elegance and drama with “earthquake” and “Your Love” from AMORTAGE.
  • LISA brought intensity with “Lifestyle,” “Thunder,” and “Rockstar” from Alter Ego.
  • JENNIE oozed swagger on “Handlebars,” “with the IE (way up),” and “like JENNIE” from Ruby.
  • ROSÉ charmed the crowd with the emotional highs of “APT,” “dance all night,” and “toxic till the end” from Rosie.

Each solo moment felt like a mini-concert — a glimpse into each artist’s evolution and individual identity. It reignited a fresh energy in a setlist that, while familiar, was anything but stale.

One of the night’s standout moments came during Rosé’s solo stage. In a surreal, cheeky intro sequence, FKA Twigs joined Rosé backstage as they sipped shots and munched on scones aboard a railcar transporting Rosé to the B-stage. It was unexpected, theatrical, and the kind of viral pop culture moment 2025 concerts are made for.

Though the group hadn’t released an album since 2022’s Born Pink, they gifted fans a new digital single, “Jump,” produced by Diplo. The Europop banger split opinions online, but live? It brought the house down — performed once in full production and again during the encore in a stripped-down format. Seeing 70,000 pink lightsticks pulse to a brand-new track felt electric.

K-pop isn’t just about the music — it’s a full sensory experience. BLACKPINK’s lightsticks created a glowing pink sea, adding emotional weight to the visual spectacle. And a live band brought a dynamic layer to the sound, with the group taking time mid-show to highlight their musicians. In a world of backing tracks, it was a human, grounding moment.

A Setlist That Reminds You Why They’re Queens

The final act of the show was a hit parade — from “As If It’s Your Last” to “Forever Young.” It was a reminder that sometimes, sticking with the classics is exactly what fans want.

BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour at Wembley didn’t just fill a stadium — it filled hearts. Amidst their thriving solo careers, this tour is proof the group still shines brightest when together. And as long as “BLACKPINK in your area” rings out, fans will keep showing up — squeaky hammers in hand.
