Bon Jovi Announce New Collaboration Album Forever (Legendary Edition) Featuring Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne & More

Bon Jovi have announced the release of Forever (Legendary Edition), a powerful new collaboration album arriving October 24. This 14-track project follows the band’s June 2024 release of Forever and comes amid frontman Jon Bon Jovi’s ongoing vocal recovery after a serious vocal cord surgery.

The new record features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, James Bay, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Robbie Williams, Ryan Tedder, and more. The lead single, Red, White and Jersey, will be released this Friday, August 29.

In a heartfelt statement, Jon Bon Jovi described the project as “more than just a collection of collaborations,” calling it “an album borne out of necessity.” He revealed that while he could still sing in the studio, touring and live performances remained physically challenging following his surgery. Without the ability to fully promote the original Forever album, Bon Jovi decided to enlist the help of his friends.

“Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need. All are great singers, artists, and also just great people,” he said.

The album includes standout collaborations such as Legendary featuring James Bay, Living Proof with Jelly Roll, Living In Paradise with Avril Lavigne, and a powerful closing bilingual version of We Made It Look Easy featuring Carin Leon. Notably, Hollow Man reunites Bon Jovi with fellow New Jersey icon Bruce Springsteen.

Reflecting on his recovery journey, Bon Jovi previously told NPR that his surgery and rehab mirrored the struggles athletes face when injured. “Even though I’m trained and I have studied the craft for these 40 years, eventually the body gives out,” he said. Despite slower-than-hoped progress, he expressed optimism: “I’m currently able to sing. For me now, the bar is, can I do two and a half hours a night, four nights a week?”

The album captures a new spirit of collaboration and community. “The result is an album with a new viewpoint and new spirit — a collaboration album that proves we all get by in this world with a little help from our friends,” he added.

Forever (Legendary Edition) is not just a musical pivot — it’s a statement of resilience, connection, and evolution.

Justin Timberlake Reveals Lyme Disease Diagnosis After Completing World Tour

Written by Tanisha Cardozo

August 1, 2025: Grammy-winning artist Justin Timberlake has revealed he is living with Lyme disease, a chronic bacterial infection that he says contributed to nerve pain, fatigue, and sickness during his Forget Tomorrow world tour.

The 44-year-old star made the announcement via Instagram, shortly after concluding his two-year tour in Turkey. He expressed the decision to go public was about “being more transparent” after enduring physical strain and public scrutiny over his performance quality in recent months.

“As many of you know, I’m a pretty private person,” Timberlake wrote. “But I want to share what I’ve been going through — I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I don’t say this to gain sympathy, but to shed light on what I’ve been battling behind the scenes.”

What Is Lyme Disease?

According to the CDC, Lyme disease is a bacterial infection transmitted through tick bites. If caught early, it can be treated effectively with antibiotics, but for some, long-term symptoms such as fatigue, joint pain, and neurological effects can persist for months or even years.

Other celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, and Shania Twain have also spoken about their struggles with the illness.

Touring Through Pain

Timberlake admitted he had considered ending the tour early due to his symptoms but ultimately found strength in performing:

“The joy that performing brings outweighed the stress my body was feeling. Not only did I prove my mental tenacity, but I now have so many special moments I’ll never forget.”

His openness comes after a turbulent few years, including a 2024 DUI charge, public criticism over his past relationship with Britney Spears, and fan backlash over inconsistent stage performances.

Despite these challenges, Timberlake remains a beloved global artist, with 10 Grammy Awards and a reputation as one of the best-selling solo performers of all time.

He is married to actress Jessica Biel, and the couple shares two children.

Timberlake closed his message by emphasizing empathy and clarity:

“I’m trying to be more transparent about struggles, so they aren’t misinterpreted.”

As fans and public figures rally in support, Timberlake’s story brings much-needed attention to an often-misunderstood illness — and a reminder that health, both mental and physical, matters deeply — even for the world’s biggest stars.
