Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ Sparks Massive Fan Anticipation Ahead of Release Date Reveal

Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film King is fast becoming one of the most talked-about Bollywood projects, with fan anticipation reaching fever pitch across social media platforms.

According to trade analyst Himesh Mankad, timelines are currently flooded with posters, fan edits, and countdown posts, reflecting the immense buzz surrounding the film. Mankad predicts that director Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan are likely to officially announce the film’s release date by Friday or Saturday.

Industry reports suggest that King is being eyed for a Christmas 2026 release, setting up a high-profile box office clash with Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday. The film’s production is said to be nearing completion, with teams currently shooting climactic action sequences.

King marks the reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand after the blockbuster success of Pathaan. The film also features Suhana Khan, making it a special project for fans eager to see the father-daughter duo share the screen. Adding to the intrigue, Abhishek Bachchan is reportedly playing the antagonist, while Deepika Padukone is set to appear in a pivotal role.

The gritty, anti-hero tone of King—first hinted at in last year’s striking first-look poster—has further amplified curiosity, with audiences expecting a darker, high-octane avatar of the superstar.

With an official announcement imminent, King is poised to dominate headlines and fan conversations in the days ahead.

Abhishek Bachchan Reveals How Aishwarya Rai Is Shaping Aaradhya’s Values Away from Social Media Noise

Abhishek Bachchan has offered a heartfelt look into his family life, sharing how his daughter Aaradhya is growing up grounded, confident, and unaffected by the pressures of fame. In a recent interview with PeepingMoon, Abhishek spoke warmly about the strong values Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has instilled in their teenage daughter.

Aishwarya’s Influence: Teaching Respect for the Industry

According to Abhishek, Aishwarya plays a major role in helping Aaradhya understand the world of fame in a healthy, respectful way.
“Aishwarya has instilled a great respect in Aaradhya towards the film industry and what we do,” he said. “She has taught her that we are what we are because of what the films and audiences have given us.”

He praised Aishwarya for helping Aaradhya build a solid foundation of humility and gratitude — qualities that, he believes, will serve her well as she grows up in the spotlight.

A Confident Teenager With Her Own Voice

Aaradhya, now 14, is growing into a confident youngster with clear viewpoints and a thoughtful way of expressing herself.
“She has an opinion. She is a very sure teenager… she has a wonderful way of conveying everything,” Abhishek shared.

Despite being part of one of India’s most celebrated film families, Aaradhya stays away from online chatter and the noise of social media.

Life Without a Phone: A Family Decision

Abhishek revealed that Aaradhya does not have a mobile phone yet — a conscious decision taken years ago. She uses the internet only for school-related work and research.
“Her friends contact her through Aishwarya’s phone,” he said, noting that she prefers spending time studying rather than scrolling through apps.

When asked about rumours and gossip surrounding her family, Abhishek said Aaradhya is well aware that not everything online is trustworthy.
“Her mother has taught her not to believe everything she reads,” he added.

Family Values Built on Honesty

Abhishek shared that their home operates on complete honesty, similar to how his own parents — Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan — raised him.
“We are completely honest with the family,” he said. “That leaves no room for doubt.”

He also confirmed that he gave up smoking and drinking when Aishwarya was pregnant.
“I have stopped both… I don’t touch them at all,” he said.

This candid glimpse into the Bachchan family reveals strong values, close-knit parenting, and a thoughtful approach to raising a child in the glare of celebrity culture.
