Traditional Route for Panjim Carnival Parade, Goa

The annual Panjim Carnival Parade at the Capital City, Goa will proceed through it’s traditional route, which will commence from Santa Monica Jetty to Kala Academy, Panjim – Goa. The Panjim Carnival will take place on 22nd February 2020.

After an initial denial of permission to hold annual carnival parade through it’s traditional route, the Corporation of the city of Panjim (CCP) seeked permission from North Goa Collector on Saturday along with the go ahead from Panjim Police and Traffice Cell of Goa Police.

Earlier the Parade was shifted a couple of years back to a new route considering the construction work of the third Mandovi Bridge. The Earlier route was from Miramar Circle to Dona Paula.

Happy Feast of Immaculate Conception, Panjim


The most famous landmark of Goa, Panjim Church celebrated it’s feast with great pomp and splendor on December 9th. The feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the Panjim Church is yearly celebrated on December 8th. This year, 8th December being a Sunday of advent season () Several devotees across the city visited the church and prayed before Our Lady of Immaculate Conception for a wish fulfilled.

The church was lit up and it was one of the most beautiful views for the eyes! Here’s what it looks like :
