Special Exhibition on History of Tiranga Inaugurated at Sanskruti Bhavan, Panaji


As part of the #HarGharTiranga2025 campaign, Goaโ€™s Minister for Archives, Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, inaugurated a Special Exhibition on the History of the Tiranga. The event, organized by the Department of Archives in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture, is being held at Art Gallery, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, and will be open to the public till August 15, 2025.

The Feast Mass at the historic Raj Bhavan Chapel in Goa will be held on August 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Devotees will be allowed entry from 9:00 AM onwards with valid photo ID. Security protocols will be strictly followed, and devotees are requested to park at the Raj Bhavan helipad. No handbags allowed.

In a vibrant celebration of Indiaโ€™s 79th Independence Day, Secretary (Sports) Shri. Santosh Sukhadeve, IAS, flagged off the #TirangaRally in Panaji, joined by Dr. Ajay Gaude, Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, and Shri. Sumith Maheshwari, High Performance Director of Khelo India. Organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, the rally saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students, promoting unity, national pride, and the spirit of independence.
