Goa State Film Festival 2025 Kicks Off with Film Legends, Music & Awards


The 10th, 11th, and 12th editions of the Goa State Film Festival 2025 began with grandeur on August 14 at Inox, Panaji. Inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, the event saw performances, prestigious film screenings, and the announcement of 48-Hour Short Film Competition winners. The festival continues till August 17 with a showcase of 19 feature films, 4 non-feature films, food courts, and handicraft stalls.

Indian Army’s Southern Command to Host Grand Military Band Performance at Benaulim Beach on Independence Day


To mark India’s 79th Independence Day, the Southern Command of the Indian Army will present a special military band performance at Benaulim Beach on August 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Organised by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the Armed Forces, CAPFs, and NCC, the event will feature martial music, patriotic songs, and timeless melodies performed by the No. 2 Pipes & Drums Band of HQ 2 Signal Training Centre, igniting patriotic fervour in a public setting.

Goa Auto Show 2025 to Debut in Panaji as India’s Premier Mobility & Lifestyle Experience


Goa will host the first-ever Goa Auto Show from September 26–28, 2025, at Kala Academy Darya Sangam, Panaji.
