PhysicsWallah (PW) Opens Info Centres in Panaji and Margao for JEE & NEET Counselling


Education company PhysicsWallah (PW) has expanded its offline presence in Goa with the opening of new PW Info Centres in Panaji and Margao. The initiative aims to provide local students with access to quality counselling and guidance for JEE and NEET preparation.

The new facilities, located at Patto Plaza in Panjim and The Osia Mall in Margao, will operate daily from 9 AM to 7 PM. These centres serve as a one-stop destination for information related to admissions, registration, and financial aid for PW courses. Students can also receive personalised counselling, including study strategies, exam tips, and guidance on the right academic path.

According to Ankit Gupta, CEO of Vidyapeeth Offline, PhysicsWallah, “The opening of the PW Info Centres in Panaji and Margao reflects our commitment to providing students in this region with access to educational guidance without needing to travel far. We plan to integrate the Info Centres with new Vidyapeeth centres in the same area soon.”

The launch comes alongside PW’s National Scholarship Cum Admission Test (PWNSAT 2025), an initiative to support NEET-UG and IIT-JEE aspirants from diverse financial backgrounds. The free exam, open to students from Class V to XII, will be held both online and offline.

The new Info Centres are expected to benefit students from regions such as Porvorim, Bambolim, Mapusa, Valpoi, Vasco, Quepem, and Canacona, ensuring that quality academic counselling is accessible throughout Goa.

Mr. Utkarsh Radhika Krishnanath Sawant Dessai from Curchorem, who completed his M.Sc. in Horticulture (Post Harvest Management), and Ms. Reema Riya Ravindra Naik from Mandrem, who pursued M.Sc. in Horticulture (Fruit Science), were recognised for their exceptional academic performance and dedication to their field.

Under Project ReviveEd, the foundation donated 30 i7 desktops to Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Government College and Research Centre, Virnoda, Pernem, Goa, equipping students with the tools needed for a more technology-driven learning environment.

Don Bosco College, Panjim Hosts ‘Psyrenity’ – A Celebration of Mental Health Awareness


The B.A. Department of Psychology at Don Bosco College, Panjim, organized “Psyrenity – A Celebration of Mental Health Awareness” on October 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The festival served as a platform to promote positivity, self-expression, and emotional well-being through an engaging blend of creative stalls, games, and interactive experiences that encouraged reflection on mental health.

The event featured several unique and thought-provoking activities, including “Pop Your Insecurities,” where participants symbolically released their self-doubts; “Compliment Booth,” which spread smiles through kind words; “Knock Out the Negativity,” a fun stress-relief game; and “Express to Destress,” a space for artistic and emotional expression. One of the highlights of the day was the special fundraising canteen titled “Mood Foods,” themed around the link between food and emotions — blending nourishment with awareness.

The festival was organized under the guidance of Director Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Principal Dr. Cedric Silveira, and Dr. Vijay Viegas, Head of the Department of Psychology, along with Ms. Grebian Alemao (College Counsellor), Ms. Nerissa Zuzarte (Faculty Coordinator), and Assistant Professors Ms. Andrea D’Souza and Ms. Tabitha Nunes. Students from all three years of the B.A. Psychology program worked with great enthusiasm to design and host the stalls, ensuring every visitor left inspired and smiling.

Psyrenity witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty across various departments, creating a campus-wide spirit of positivity and unity.
