Goa | June 2025 โ€” In a harmonious blend of wellness, nature, and heritage, the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, conducted a series of โ€˜Harit Yogaโ€™ activities across several iconic heritage locations in Goa. The initiative is part of a nationwide campaign to promote environmental consciousness, traditional wellness practices, and cultural preservation through the ancient art of Yoga.

Heritage Meets Holistic Health

The Harit Yoga campaign, which integrates Yoga and environmental awareness, was carried out at Goaโ€™s celebrated heritage sites including temples, forts, and historic coastal spots. Participants included Ayurveda students, yoga instructors, local residents, and tourists, all coming together to practice yoga in green, open-air, culturally rich environments.

Bloop! Childrenโ€™s Monsoon Camp at Museum of Goa


Panaji, June 2025:ย The Childrenโ€™s Art Studio at the Museum of Goa, Pilerne, will be organisingย Bloop!,ย a week-long monsoon-themed art camp centred around Bloop, a friendly frog mascot and his rainy day adventures. From June 24 to 29, kids aged six and above, have the opportunity to create art inspired by the monsoon season.ย 

The camp features themed daily workshops full of creativity, storytelling and hands-on crafting which includes โ€˜glowbrellasโ€™, marble painting, wind charms, glowing lamps, terrariums and 3D forests. The camp will be led by in-house educators and guest facilitators and is open for full-week or single-day participation.

Karnataka Secures Indiaโ€™s First Private Helicopter Assembly Facility


In a significant milestone for Indiaโ€™s aerospace and defense sector, Karnataka has been selected as the site for the countryโ€™s first private helicopter assembly facility. Airbus, in partnership with Tata Advanced Systems, is set to establish a final assembly line for the H125 helicopter in Kolar, Karnataka.

This pioneering initiative marks a major step toward strengthening Indiaโ€™s indigenous manufacturing capabilities in the aviation industry. The new facility will focus on the assembly of the versatile H125 helicopter, a light single-engine aircraft widely used for various purposes including utility, surveillance, and emergency services.

The collaboration between Airbus and Tata Advanced Systems is expected to create numerous employment opportunities, foster technological innovation, and boost the local economy in the region. Department of Tourism calls for Registration of Agro Farms and Spice Plantations


Panaji, May 8, 2025 โ€” The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, directs all Agro Farm and Spice Plantation operators, with or without accommodation facilities, to register their establishments under the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982 and Rules 1985 within 15 working days from the date of this circular i.e. May 08, 2025.

It has been observed that several such entities are currently operating without the required permissions, NOCs, or licences from the Department of Tourism.

This directive aims to ensure legal compliance, promote transparency, and uphold standards within the tourism sector.
