Erica De Sequeira Dominates WMC India Championship, Clinches Gold in Mapusa


Erica De Sequeira showcased exceptional skill and dominance at the WMC India Muay Thai Championship โ€“ State Title Belt & Ranking Series 21, held on April 11 and 12, 2026, at the Boxing Hall in Mapusa, Goa. Representing Academy of Combat Sports Goa, she once again proved her elite standing in the sport.

In her opening bout, Erica secured a commanding victory by RSC (Referee Stops Contest), as her opponent was unable to continue against her overwhelming dominance. She followed it up with another impressive win via TKO (Technical Knockout), demonstrating powerful striking, sharp technique, and complete control inside the ring.

With back-to-back dominant performances, Erica clinched the gold medal, underlining her endurance, tactical awareness, and fighting intelligence. Her victories reflected not just her physical strength but also her strategic execution throughout the competition.

Training under Coach Ronnyy, Erica has established herself as one of the top athletes from Goa in Muay Thai, earning recognition at both national and international levels. Her continued success sets a strong benchmark for aspiring fighters in the state.
