Goa Extends Online UG Admissions Deadline to April 13, 2026

The Directorate of Higher Education Goa has announced an extension for online undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2026–27, giving students additional time to complete their applications.

The new deadline has been set for April 13, 2026, until midnight, offering relief to students who may have missed the earlier window or are still in the process of finalising their choices.

According to officials, more than 15,000 applications have already been submitted through the Samarth Portal, reflecting strong participation from aspiring students across the state.

Importantly, the extension also benefits students who are still awaiting their Class 12 examination results. Authorities have clarified that such students are eligible to apply during this extended period, ensuring that no eligible candidate misses out on the admission process due to pending results.

The move is expected to streamline the admission process and provide greater flexibility to students navigating academic transitions. It also aligns with the government’s efforts to make higher education more accessible and inclusive.

Students are advised to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues and ensure a smooth admission process.
