In a landmark achievement for Indian aviation, Goa International Airport has secured a global Silver ranking at the prestigious Airport Service Quality Awards, reinforcing its position among the world’s leading airports in passenger experience and operational excellence.

The airport has been ranked second among Airports Authority of India (AAI) airports and 59th globally, a significant recognition that highlights its consistent efforts to deliver high-quality services. The ASQ Awards, presented by Airports Council International, are considered the highest benchmark in the aviation industry, based entirely on passenger feedback across parameters such as service quality, cleanliness, and overall airport experience.

Speaking on the achievement, Flt Lt Akash Deep, Airport Director, expressed pride in the collective effort that led to this milestone. He noted that the recognition reflects the unwavering commitment of the airport team, operational partners, and stakeholders who work tirelessly to ensure a seamless travel experience.

He emphasized that the accomplishment is not just a win for the airport but for the entire state of Goa, showcasing the region’s hospitality and efficiency on a global platform. The director credited the success to the strong synergy between the Goa Airport team, airline partners, and various stakeholders and agencies who contribute to the smooth functioning of the airport.

Stakeholders and supporting agencies were also recognized for their continuous efforts in enhancing operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.
