JCI Vasco successfully organized “Magic with Mic – One Day Effective Public Speaking Workshop” on March 29, 2026, at Mushrooms in Bogmalo. The workshop was designed to empower participants with enhanced confidence and effective communication skills through practical, engaging, and interactive sessions.
The training was led by Pilot Faculty Sachin Kurtikar, Past National Vice President and JCI India Author, along with Zone Trainer Vasant Pednekar. The sessions focused on key aspects of public speaking, including overcoming stage fear, improving body language, mastering voice modulation, and developing persuasive speaking techniques.
A total of 22 participants attended the workshop and actively engaged in various activities and speaking exercises. The hands-on approach enabled attendees to practice in real-time, resulting in noticeable improvement in their confidence and presentation skills by the end of the day.
The impact of the workshop was further reflected in the enthusiasm shown by participants, with four individuals expressing interest in joining JCI, highlighting the effectiveness of the training program in inspiring leadership and personal growth.
Outstanding performances were recognised across different categories. Divya Desai and Pari Dhargalkar were awarded for Outstanding Participation. Caiziya Fernandes, Deepika Pednekar, and Malik Riyan Khatari were honoured for Outstanding Transformation, while Yashu Sharma and Aditya Umesh Nayak received accolades for Outstanding Speech Performance.
The event concluded on a high note, receiving positive feedback from all attendees, and reinforcing JCI Vasco’s commitment to skill development, leadership training, and community engagement.
