Alok Kumar, Director General of Police, Goa, inaugurated a three-day exhibition on Nyaya Sanhita at Kala Academy in Campal, Panaji. The exhibition has been organised by Goa Police in collaboration with the Departments of Prosecution, Forensic Science, Prisons, and Health.
The initiative aims to educate the public, students, and stakeholders about the key features and reforms introduced under the Nyaya Sanhita, which forms part of Indiaโs updated criminal law framework.
A major highlight of the exhibition is a 40-minute skit that creatively enacts important aspects of the Nyaya Sanhita, making complex legal concepts more accessible and engaging for audiences. In addition, thematic awareness stalls have been set up to provide detailed insights into the provisions, implementation, and impact of the new laws.
Officials stated that the exhibition has been designed as an interactive platform to bridge the gap between law enforcement agencies and the public, ensuring better understanding and awareness of legal rights and responsibilities.
The exhibition is open to the public until March 28, 2026, at Kala Academy, Panaji, offering visitors an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about the evolving legal landscape in India.
