Manipal Hospital Goa marked World Water Day with a meaningful beach cleanup drive at Caranzalem Beach, highlighting the importance of clean water, sanitation, and environmental responsibility.
The initiative saw active participation from Hospital Director Surendra Prasad along with staff members, who came together to clean the shoreline by collecting waste and spreading awareness about protecting water bodies from pollution. The effort aimed to emphasise the strong connection between clean surroundings and the prevention of waterborne diseases.
Addressing the participants, Surendra Prasad stressed the significance of access to clean water for overall health and wellbeing.
