Goan Students Can Apply for Full Scholarships Under Goa Super 100 Initiative


In a significant boost to higher education access in Goa, the PACT Foundation has opened applications for its Goa Super 100 โ€“ 100 Scholarships initiative for meritorious students across the state.

The programme is designed to support academically strong students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have secured admission to professional courses but face financial challenges in continuing their education.

Under this initiative, selected students will be able to pursue undergraduate programmes at leading institutions across India, including Alliance University, Chitkara University, Lovely Professional University, Manav Rachna University, Parul University, Marwadi University, Vivekananda Global University, SRM University, Symbiosis International University, and BML Munjal University.

The Goa Super 100 Higher Education Scholarship will cover tuition fees as well as hostel accommodation for the entire duration of the degree programme, significantly reducing the financial burden on students and their families.

Eligibility for the scholarship includes being a domicile of Goa, securing a minimum of 85 per cent in HSSC examinations, and belonging to a family with an annual income below โ‚น6 lakh. The selection process will be strictly merit-based, evaluating academic performance, eligibility criteria, and overall potential.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap in access to quality higher education and empower deserving students to pursue their academic and professional aspirations without financial constraints.

Speaking on the initiative, Dr Ashwin Fernandes, Founder of the PACT Foundation, emphasised the importance of unlocking opportunities for talented students in Goa.

He stated that Goan students possess immense potential and that the programme seeks to ensure that deserving individuals are not held back due to financial limitations. He also highlighted the broader impact of the initiative, noting that empowering students creates a ripple effect, uplifting families and inspiring future generations.
