Goa has been recognised at the national level for its governance initiatives, securing the Gold Award at the ET GovTech Awards 2026 under the Smart Governance Excellence category.
The award was received by Mauvin Godinho in New Delhi, acknowledging the state’s efforts in leveraging technology to improve governance and public service delivery.
The recognition comes for Goa’s Digital Public Goods initiative, which focuses on enhancing Ease of Doing Business by streamlining processes, improving accessibility, and enabling efficient digital interactions between the government, businesses, and citizens.
