A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at Auxilium School Carona on March 15, 2026, as a joint initiative by Loving Hearts in collaboration with North Goa District Hospital. The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage individuals to contribute towards saving lives.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Headmistress Sr. Lavita Sequeira, and witnessed a positive response from donors who voluntarily came forward to support the noble cause. The medical team from North Goa District Hospital efficiently managed the entire process, including registration, health screenings, and blood collection, ensuring safety and comfort for all participants.
The programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of members of Loving Hearts, with key contributions from Ranjit Rodrigues, Mark D’Souza, and Gabriel Pereira, who played an instrumental role in organizing and coordinating the event.
An Organ Donation Information Desk set up by the MOHAN Foundation was also part of the initiative. Gabriel Pereira, serving as an Organ Donation Ambassador, provided valuable insights and addressed queries related to organ donation, helping raise awareness about the importance of this life-saving act.
The management expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors for their generosity and willingness to help those in need. The camp concluded successfully, leaving participants with a sense of fulfillment and reinforcing the message that even a small act like donating blood can make a significant difference in saving lives.
