In celebration of International Women’s Day through Aboli Week and Sheros Day, JCI Ponda organised an inspiring orientation talk on JCI, Leadership and Entrepreneurship for women. The programme was conducted in association with Shree Navdurga Sanskrutik Sanstha at Tisk–Usgao in Goa.
The session aimed to encourage women to explore leadership opportunities, develop entrepreneurial thinking, and actively participate in community development initiatives.
The orientation talk was conducted by Janhavi Shet Tilve, Zone Trainer, who shared valuable insights about the vision and activities of Junior Chamber International (JCI). She also highlighted how JCI provides a platform for individuals to enhance their leadership skills, build confidence, and contribute meaningfully to society.
During the session, she spoke about the importance of leadership among women and the role entrepreneurship can play in empowering women to achieve financial independence and personal growth. Through her motivational talk, she encouraged participants to believe in their potential, develop leadership qualities and step forward to create positive change within their communities.
The session was interactive and engaging, with participants actively taking part in discussions and gaining insights into opportunities available through JCI initiatives.
The organisers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Janhavi Shet Tilve for delivering a motivating and empowering session that inspired women to take charge of their personal and professional journeys.
The programme was led by Chaitali Agarwadekar, President of JCI Ponda, along with Srinivas Inamdar, Secretary, and Muskan Naik, Project Coordinator, who played a key role in organising the initiative aimed at empowering women through leadership and entrepreneurship.
