Porvorim: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has congratulated Goa cricketer Snehal Kauthankar for being honoured with the prestigious Madhavrao Scindia Award at the BCCI Annual Awards – Naman 2024–25.
Kauthankar received the honour after finishing as the highest run-getter in the Ranji Trophy 2024–25 Plate Group, a significant achievement that has brought immense pride to Goa’s cricketing fraternity.
Recognition for Outstanding Performance
The Madhavrao Scindia Award is presented by the Board of Control for Cricket in India to recognise outstanding performances in domestic cricket. Kauthankar’s consistent run-scoring in the Ranji Trophy made him one of the standout performers of the season.
His contribution played a key role in highlighting Goa’s growing presence in Indian domestic cricket.

Congratulating the talented batter, Mahesh Dessai, President of the GCA, praised Kauthankar’s dedication and commitment to the sport.
