In a surprising incident, a pothole on the Bareilly–Haridwar National Highway (NH-74) helped revive a 50-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh who had earlier shown no clinical signs of life.

The woman was being transported in an ambulance after she was believed to be clinically unresponsive. During the journey on NH-74, the ambulance reportedly hit a pothole, causing a sudden jolt.

According to reports, the impact of the jolt appeared to trigger a response from the woman, who began showing signs of life shortly after the incident. The unexpected development shocked both the family members and the medical staff accompanying her.

She was immediately rushed for further medical attention following the incident.

The unusual episode has drawn attention online, with many describing the pothole as an unexpected “life-saving bump.” While potholes on highways are generally seen as a serious safety concern, this rare incident turned out to have an unexpectedly positive outcome for the woman and her family.
