In a swift and efficient operation, personnel from the Pink Force successfully recovered a stolen bag during a late-night search operation in Calangute and returned it to its rightful owner.
According to officials, the complaint was received at around 11 pm, reporting the theft of a bag containing cash, a mobile phone and important documents. Acting immediately on the complaint, the Pink Force team launched a search operation in the surrounding area.
During the search, the personnel carefully inspected nearby locations and eventually located the missing bag in a gutter close to the area where the theft had occurred. After retrieving it, the team verified the contents and confirmed that all belongings were intact.
The recovered bag, along with its contents, was then handed over to the rightful owner by the Pink Force staff, bringing relief to the complainant.
The prompt action of the Pink Force once again highlights the Goa Police’s commitment to ensuring safety, quick response and community support, particularly in busy tourist areas like Calangute.
