The league will be held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, Margao, and will feature participation from women shuttlers ranging from 9 years to 70 years, highlighting the inclusive spirit of the sport and encouraging greater participation among women.

A major highlight of the tournament will be the participation of Amaira Dhumatkar, a 9-year-old Goan badminton prodigy and India’s seeded No. 3 player, who is expected to add excitement to the competition.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa and in association with the Women Cell of Goa Police – Pink Force. The league is supported by Model Margao as the title sponsor and Lupin Pharmaceuticals as the brand partner.

Organisers stated that the league aims to celebrate women in sports while promoting badminton among women of all age groups. Held on International Women’s Day, the event symbolises the spirit of empowerment and unity through sports.
