CHICAGO: United Airlines has announced a new policy giving cabin crew the authority to remove passengers who play music, videos, or any media loudly without using headphones.

The airline stated that passengers can be ejected from a flight and permanently banned from future travel with United if they violate the rule. Crew members are empowered to enforce this safety and comfort policy at any point during the flight, ensuring a peaceful environment for all travelers.

United Airlines emphasized that the policy is part of ongoing efforts to maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable experience onboard. Passengers are encouraged to use headphones when listening to media to avoid penalties.
