The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond has collected over ₹21 crore in India within six days of its theatrical release. The film, directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, has been performing steadily despite controversies surrounding it.
According to Sacnilk, the film earned approximately ₹2.19 crore on Thursday (Day 6), taking its total India nett collection to ₹21.59 crore.

As per reports, the film collected ₹4.65 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹4.75 crore on day two. It earned ₹2.5 crore on day three, ₹4 crore on day four and ₹3.5 crore on day five before adding ₹2.19 crore on day six. The film reportedly had 3,568 shows across the country with an occupancy rate of around 9 percent on Thursday.

The first film, The Kerala Story (2023), directed by Sudipto Sen, had earned ₹12 crore on its sixth day, according to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court declined to entertain a Public Interest Litigation seeking a change in the title of the film. A bench headed by Chief Justice Soumen Sen and Justice Syam Kumar V. M. noted that similar petitions related to the film were already pending before other benches.

The court also criticised certain remarks made in the PIL and allowed the petitioners to file a fresh plea after removing the portions that cast aspersions on the division bench which had earlier paved the way for the film’s release.
