As part of its Women’s Day Week celebrations, JCI Sanguem organised a food competition for women on March 5, 2026, providing a platform for participants to showcase their culinary creativity and skills.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 30 women from the community, who presented a variety of dishes and demonstrated their passion for cooking. The competition created a lively and engaging atmosphere, encouraging interaction, bonding and celebration among the participants.
During the programme, JCI Sanguem also felicitated a Lady Panch Member and a former Sarpanch in recognition of their valuable service and contribution to the community. Their presence and inspiring words added significance to the celebration.
The initiative highlighted JCI’s ongoing efforts to empower women, promote leadership and encourage greater community participation through meaningful activities.
The organisers congratulated all participants and winners for making the event vibrant and memorable.
The programme was organised by JCI Sanguem under the leadership of President JC Kaushik Naik, with JC Pradnya Gailwad serving as the Project Director.
