Power Panthers Porvorim emerged champions after defeating Dhadsakhal Stars by 7 wickets in the Oxford-organised Junior Cricket Championship final held under floodlights at the 1919 Cricket Stadium.
In a competitive final, Dhadsakhal Stars posted a challenging total of 191 for 9 in their allotted 25 overs. Despite strong resistance from their batters, they were restricted by disciplined bowling from Power Panthers Porvorim.
Key contributions came from Pranjal Singh (72 runs) and Adeep Prabhu Misquin (49 runs), while Pranjul Yadav remained unbeaten on 34. For Power Panthers, Anurag Bahadur claimed 3 wickets for 27 runs, supported by Bavesh with 2 wickets and crucial breakthroughs from Shaunak Naik and Saish Virnodkar.
Chasing 192 for victory, Power Panthers Porvorim displayed confident batting and sealed the target comfortably in 22 overs, finishing at 192 for 3. The foundation of the chase was laid by a sensational century from Sahil Metri, who scored exactly 100 runs and anchored the innings. He received strong support from Samaan Manjrekar, who contributed a fluent 50, and Sumedh Parab, who remained unbeaten on 10 to complete the chase.
The final concluded with celebrations as Power Panthers lifted the championship trophy after a dominant performance throughout the tournament.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by chief guests Adv. Iftikhar Agha, Darshan Misal, Anup Vernekar, and Vinvi Gurav. Chief organiser Romeen (Bunty) Mulam along with members of the JCC organising committee were present to felicitate the players.
