Ajmer: The national HPV Vaccination Campaign Against Cervical Cancer was officially launched in Ajmer, marking a significant step toward strengthening preventive healthcare for women across the country.
Manisha Rawat from Ajmer became the first individual to receive the HPV vaccine under the campaign, symbolising the beginning of a large-scale public health initiative aimed at protecting women from cervical cancer.
The campaign focuses on raising awareness about the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a leading cause of cervical cancer, and promoting vaccination as an effective preventive measure. Health officials described the initiative as a major milestone in advancing women’s healthcare and reducing the burden of cervical cancer nationwide.
The launch underscores the government’s commitment to preventive healthcare, early intervention, and improving access to life-saving vaccines for women and young girls
