Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have entered a new chapter in their relationship, getting married in an intimate ceremony at ITC Mementos, Udaipur, on February 26.
The couple, who first shared screen space in the Telugu films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, solemnised their union in the morning as per traditional Telugu rituals. A second ceremony was later held to honour Rashmika Mandanna’s Kodava heritage, making it a celebration of both families’ cultural roots.
Known for keeping their relationship largely private over the years, the actors opted for a strictly no-phone wedding, ensuring an unplugged and intimate atmosphere for close friends and family. Guests were required to deposit their phones at the entrance, reinforcing the couple’s desire for privacy.
For the Telugu ceremony, the bride and groom wore ensembles designed by Anamika Khanna. Official wedding photographs shared on social media quickly went viral, with fans and celebrities flooding the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Reports suggest that the wedding festivities included a haldi ceremony with a splash of colours, a lively sangeet night featuring dance performances, and carefully curated hospitality for guests — and even sweets sent out to paparazzi stationed outside the venue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to the couple, while several film industry colleagues including Samantha, Kriti Sanon and Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared their wishes.
