Harmanpreet Kaur etched her name into the record books on Thursday as she became the most-capped player in women’s international cricket history.
The milestone came in Canberra, Australia, where the Indian captain featured in her 356th international match for India women’s national cricket team — taking her to the top of the all-time list for most international appearances in women’s cricket.
Harmanpreet, who has been a pillar of Indian cricket across formats, achieved the landmark through consistent performances in Tests, ODIs and T20Is over the years. A World Cup-winning captain and one of the most influential figures in the modern women’s game, she continues to lead from the front with both bat and leadership.
Her journey, marked by match-winning knocks and bold captaincy decisions, reflects the growth of women’s cricket in India and globally. Reaching 356 caps is a testament not only to longevity but also to sustained excellence at the highest level.
With this feat, Harmanpreet adds yet another chapter to an already illustrious international career.
