Snehal Kauthankar Named Captain of Goa Senior Men for Ranji Trophy Clash Against Maharashtra

Panaji: Snehal Kauthankar has been appointed captain of the Goa Senior Men’s cricket team for their forthcoming Ranji Trophy 2025-26 encounter against Maharashtra. The four-day match is set to be played in Pune from January 22 to January 25, 2026.



Goa will be aiming to deliver a strong performance against a formidable Maharashtra side. Deepraj Gaonkar has been named vice-captain, adding leadership strength to a squad that combines experienced campaigners with promising young talent.

Rajshekhar Harikant will handle wicketkeeping duties, while the team also features a range of all-rounders and a varied bowling attack expected to suit the Pune conditions.
