GSB Unity Cup 3.0 Set to Begin on January 21 at MCC Margao, Grand Finale on March 15

Margao: The much-anticipated GSB Unity Cup 3.0, organised under the aegis of the GSB community, will commence on January 21, 2026, and conclude with the grand finale on March 15, 2026, at the MCC Ground, Margao.

The tournament will be formally inaugurated on January 21 at 6.30 pm at MCC Margao. The inaugural ceremony will be graced by Akash Khaunte, Title Sponsor of the tournament and Director of the Alcon Group, as the Chief Guest. Rohan Kamat, Director of Kamat Realty, will attend as the Guest of Honour, while Chirag Naik, Managing Director of Commonwealth Developers Pvt. Ltd., and Dr Sagar Salgaocar, Director of Geno Pharmaceuticals, will be present as Special Invitees.

Also present on the occasion will be Raghuvir Kunkolkar, President of the Margao Cricket Club; Siddhit Raiturkar, President of the GSB Sports and Charitable Trust; and Venkat Biche, Chief Coordinator of the GSB Unity Cup 2026.

The tournament will feature competitive encounters between leading teams including Priority Titans, Shamrao Tridents, Ultracon Madgaon Royals, KK Strikers, Rising Stars of Ponda, Commonwealth Fountainhead, Desserts N More Avengers, Dempo Challengers, Vimson Panjim Powerplay and Sinq Rangers.

Matches will be played across weekdays and weekends, with evening fixtures under lights and weekend double-headers scheduled in the morning and afternoon. The league phase will span several weeks, culminating in the semi-finals on March 14, followed by the grand final on March 15, to be played under floodlights at 6.00 pm.

The GSB Unity Cup 3.0 is supported by Title Sponsor Alcon Anil Counto Enterprises, Platinum Partner Commonwealth Developers Pvt. Ltd., and Diamond Partners including Desserts & More, Devashri Nirman LLP, Priority Constructions and Kamat Realty.
