Goa CM Releases Commemorative Postal Stamp Honouring Legendary Cinematographer K. Vaikunth Bab at IFFI 56


Panjim, Goa – 26th November 2025: In a memorable moment celebrating Goa’s rich cinematic legacy, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant released a special commemorative postal stamp in honour of legendary Goan cinematographer Shri K. Vaikunth Bab on the occasion of his centenary. The release took place during the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) at INOX Panjim, marking a fitting tribute to one of Goa’s most influential visual storytellers.

Shri K. Vaikunth Bab remains an iconic figure in Indian cinema, renowned for his exceptional contributions behind the camera and his signature visual style that shaped generations of filmmakers and artists. His legacy continues to inspire Goan talent and the wider Indian film industry.
