Globally acclaimed artist Jon Batiste is officially heading to India this year for two unforgettable live performances in Delhi-NCR on November 24 and Mumbai on November 26, marking his much-anticipated India debut. The multi-talented musician — a seven-time Grammy winner, Oscar-nominated composer, and cultural icon — is currently on his Big Money Tour: Jon Batiste Plays America, celebrating the release of his ninth studio album Big Money, which dropped on August 22, 2025.
The India leg of his tour comes after a series of high-profile achievements that have defined Batiste’s meteoric rise over the past few years. His 2021 album We Are broke records with 11 Grammy nominations across seven different categories — a historic feat. In 2023, his follow-up World Music Radio earned five Grammy nominations. That same year, he received an Oscar nomination for “It Never Went Away,” the emotionally stirring track from his Netflix documentary American Symphony.
More recently, Batiste’s Beethoven Blues stunned the classical world by topping Billboard’s Classical Albums Chart for nine weeks. He also made waves with a standout Super Bowl halftime performance, cementing his place as one of the most versatile and magnetic performers of this generation.
Now, Indian audiences will finally have the opportunity to witness Batiste’s genre-defying sound — an exhilarating fusion of jazz, classical, funk, gospel, and soul — in a live concert setting.
