Vasco | August 6, 2025 — Goa mourns the passing of Paresh Joshi, a highly respected figure in both the business and cultural spheres of the state. A prominent industrialist, Joshi was best known for his over 30 years of service as President of the All Goa Petrol Dealers Association, where he championed the rights of fuel station owners and was instrumental in industry regulation and modernization.
Joshi was not only a voice in commerce but also a dedicated community leader. His contributions extended to cultural preservation, most notably through his recent appointment as the Chairman of the Damodar Saptah Utsav Committee, where he was entrusted with overseeing the festival’s landmark 125th edition — a prestigious responsibility that underlined the trust and respect he commanded.
Colleagues, community members, and leaders across Goa have expressed their condolences, remembering him as a person of action, wisdom, and deep community commitment.
“His leadership was grounded in service. Vasco and Goa have lost a guiding light,” shared one local leader.
His legacy leaves behind not only achievements in industry and civic leadership but also a model of integrity and compassion. He is survived by family and a community that deeply mourns his loss.
Rest in peace, Paresh Joshi.
