Country music superstar Luke Bryan faced an unexpected moment during his North Dakota concert on Saturday, July 26, when he was hit in the face by an object believed to be a small ball thrown from the audience. The incident occurred mid-performance during his hit song “Country Girl,” with fan-shot video capturing the exact moment Bryan was struck.
The 49-year-old artist didn’t let the moment rattle him. He brushed off the object and continued to sing, showing the kind of professionalism that’s earned him respect in the music world. While some fans commended Bryan’s composure, others were visibly upset, with the video quickly going viral across social media.
“Whoever that was ruined the whole concert because he stopped so early,” one viewer commented online. Another fan wrote, “Disrespectful young kids,” while others called for the responsible person to come forward.
This incident comes just weeks after Bryan returned to touring following a COVID-19 diagnosis that forced him to cancel several shows. During a recent performance in South Carolina, Bryan opened up about the health scare, saying, “Three weeks ago I got COVID… I am not 100 percent.”
Still recovering and visibly working through lingering symptoms, Bryan made it clear he’s committed to showing up for his fans — even under tough circumstances. “When I can sing, I’m gonna sing. When I can’t, y’all are gonna sing,” he told the crowd.
Despite the disruption in North Dakota, Luke Bryan once again proved his dedication to his fans and his love for the stage. As for the person responsible for the thrown object, their identity remains unknown, but public backlash is growing by the day.
