Mystery, mayhem, and laughs return to The Arconia.
The Emmy-nominated comedy-drama Only Murders in the Building returns for its fifth season on September 9, 2025. The first three episodes will drop on premiere day, followed by weekly releases every Tuesday on Hulu and JioCinema (India).
Starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, the show has become a fan-favorite for its blend of humor, heart, and whodunit suspense. This season’s murder victim is none other than Lester, the Arconia’s beloved longtime doorman.
As Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) dive into the investigation, they uncover secrets involving high-powered billionaires, mobsters, and secretive residents.
The returning ensemble includes Meryl Streep, Nathan Lane, Michael Cyril Creighton, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Richard Kind. Guest stars joining this season are a mix of Hollywood royalty and rising stars: Renée Zellweger, Bobby Cannavale, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Téa Leoni, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, and Jermaine Fowler.
A recently released promo shows the cast’s signature banter, with Steve Martin hilariously fumbling his own name, drawing laughs from Selena and Martin.
Meanwhile, Only Murders in the Building has earned several nominations at the 77th Emmy Awards, including Best Comedy Series, and acting nods for the lead trio. The episode My Best Friend’s Wedding received directing and writing nominations.
With a bigger cast, deeper mysteries, and the same Arconia charm, Season 5 promises to be the most thrilling and hilarious yet.
