July 2025 | Goa — A group of six determined bikers from Goa—Krishna, Yash, Pravin, Sunil, Akash, and Rushab—have completed one of India’s most coveted road journeys: the full Ladakh circuit. Starting from the verdant valley of Srinagar, the team powered through high-altitude passes, rugged terrain, and unpredictable weather to complete their return leg via Manali and Kullu.
But it wasn’t just about the thrill of the ride. The journey took on historical significance when Krishna achieved a rare feat—he became the first Goan to take a KTM Adventure 390 X to Umling La, the world’s highest motorable pass at over 19,000 feet above sea level.
This daring adventure stands as a testament to the strength of will, preparation, and passion that defines India’s growing biking culture. Facing freezing temperatures, low oxygen levels, and physically demanding routes, the riders relied on one another and their machines to overcome every challenge.
“We wanted to push boundaries and represent Goa in a space that’s rarely been explored by riders from our state,” said Krishna. “Umling La was tough, but making it there with my KTM Adventure 390 X was an unforgettable moment.”
The team’s journey is not just a personal achievement—it’s an inspiration to Goa’s adventure community, reminding everyone that with the right mix of courage and planning, no road is ever too far.
As more Goans embrace the spirit of the open road, this milestone ride will surely stand as a defining moment in the state’s adventure chronicles.
